Horse racing, sport or economy?
Horse racing has been a really successful and famous industry, which continues, even today to make millions of dollars, and bring thousands of people to the races. During the beginning of this sport, methods became more adapted and advanced, throughout time. But today, Horse medicine and training are at its finest.

1/. Firstly, breeding of the horse stars with the origin of the parents, which will define if the fall will have some great abilities to race or not .This same fall is treated like an athlete, who will need special nutrition, training, and treatments, for a good development of his abilities. By the age of 1,this horse become a yearling, at that point, the owner can decide if this horse could be sold ,or can stay at the stud and keep its training to get ready to race. Some yearlings can be sold from 10000 dollars to 2+ millions, because of the origin or appearance of the horse.
2/.the training starts at 3 AM to avoid the morning heat ,and so, helping the horse being in a better climate condition to make efforts .Depending of his race schedule ,the horse will train more or less ,will have specific treatments (fumigation, anti-biotic, pool training),and a diet nutrition. All those factors will put the horse in the best condition to race and pass the doping test. Before a race, if the horse is declared positive, he’s not allowed to race and the trainer is not permitted to train or to participate to a race for 1 year. During the races, one extremely economic point is the betting. You have the possibility to choose, in every race, one horse or many, and place a certain amount of money to predict the arrival result. If you’re right, your gain is your money in addition of the medium rating of the horse. (Horse with stakes at 50 to 1, will gave you 500, if you placed 10 dollars on him).the bookmakers are making your bets, and keep all the losing bets to themself.
In conclusion, the horse racing industry became a specific economy which aloud everybody who is involved in the races, to make money .With over 200 hippodromes around the world, this sport is and will continue to expand and to attract people who want to try getting richer.
